Palau is an island nation of 340 islands, situated in the western Pacific ocean. It is north of Papua New Guinea, east of Philippines and forms the western part of Micronesia. Many of the islands in the archipelago are rocky and form interesting, mushroom shaped specs of land, covered with vibrant green forest, providing visitors with many awe inspiring landscapes and photo ops. They also host a huge variety of marine life in their pristine and warm waters. Thanks to its proximity to the equator, the weather in Palau is quite steady all year round and perfect for sustaining a dazzling underwater environment.
The Palau Aggressor II offers a special SCUBA diving liveaboard cruise to some of the most spectacular dive sites in the Palau region. On your trip on-board the yacht you will enjoy a bit of what the area has to show, like SCUBA diving on magnificent reefs and walls, wrecks, channels, blue holes and even caves. Wild life is abundant and a whole range of soft and hard corals live right below the surface. Large migratory species, like Manta rays, Tuna, Eagle rays, Hammerhead sharks, turtles, Barracuda, Jacks and others can be seen on many occasions, along side big and small reef species, as Gray and White-tip reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, Butterfly fish, Groupers, Lobsters, Nudibranchs, Anemone fish and many more. Beside all this underwater splendor, you will be able to go ashore on two occasions, to see and experience some of the fascinating history and beauty of Palau. One trip will take you to Peleliu, where a mighty battle between US and Japanese troops, which occurred during WWII, left many rusty remains in the island’s forests and caves. And another to the magnificent beach on Ulong island.
The usual Palau Aggressor II SCUBA diving liveaboard itinerary begins on a Sunday, when all the guests are welcome to start boarding at 4.30pm at the Neco Marine (Malakai) Harbor. You can check in and embark the ship at any time until Monday at 6am when the boat is scheduled to depart for the first day of diving in Palau. From Monday until Friday you will have the opportunity to enjoy up to 4 daily dives and 3 night dives. On Saturday, after your morning dives at the beautiful Chandelier Caves, the Palau Aggressor II will return to port and lunch will be served after a fun skiff cruise around the rock islands. After lunch you will be able to go for a walk around town, sight seeing, shopping or visit the museum until the sunset cocktail party, which will be held on-board at 6pm. Dinner on the last night of your trip will be in a local restaurant of your choice, which the crew will help arrange (this is the only meal not included in the charter). Check out is at 8am on Sunday morning and transfers back to the airport (ROR) or to hotels in Koror will be arranged by the staff.
